walking on eggshells

you fear the
truth staining my
teeth black, a charred
tongue too heavy
to swallow any more lies,
i choke on a puff
despair, a gray mist
that has me disappearing
until the early morning mist✨

  1. “…the yolk has cracked, underneath my feet. Exposed…” that line is fire to me, then you say “…fear the truth staining my teeth black…” wow your work is truly talking to me right now. I love your expression. Its all part of the journey to weave in and out of these experiences. Thanks for showing the world we are not alone. This is inspiration!
