undone

i become undone
beneath your gaze.
unraveling
at the seams, you
are sweet enough
to lend a hand.
you take your time:
your eyes brush
me up and down
before your fingertips
follow the path your lips
are aching to trace.
i am eager to offer aid;
you need not beg;
the base of my spine
fits just right between
your hands. my back and
neck are in tandem.
i collapse as the heat
overtakes me, but you
are ready to catch me
with that sweet smile
on your lips
and eyes dimmed
and beckoning
me to abandon reason.
